It feels like we have been friends for years. Molly and Sid, thank you for spending the whole day with us! We had the best time getting to know you (and enjoying BLT’s)! Your kindness means so much to us. The light was perfect and I was in my happy place! The golden grass. The area is very important to Sid and his family – and is even the spot where Molly and Sid got engaged last September!įor the majority of their session, we headed to the beautiful and diverse Discovery Park. On Bainbridge Island, we walked the property where they will be getting married – almost exactly one year away. We made the most of our ferry ride and took some photos on the balcony as we watched Seattle fade into the distance. To start off the day, we took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island to scout their wedding venue, the Seattle Country Club. Crazy enough, they live walking distance away from my family in Seattle! After some long distance, they both ended up in Seattle to pursue their careers. Even though they met that first day, they didn’t start dating until the end of senior year. Molly and Sid met on their first day of college at University of Denver. Even the day of the session, we pulled an audible and decided to reschedule for the next day when clouds and rainstorms appeared on the radar out of nowhere, and I’m so glad we did! This session was a dream! The weather was perfect – it wasn’t windy – it was a comfortable temperature – these two had amazing chemistry – their outfits were so cute – the locations were gorgeous! I was on such a high after this day! We had to be patient, as Seattle’s weather isn’t necessarily always ideal. They reached out about their wedding last December, so for months we were looking forward to meeting them.
